A skirt, a pair of shorts, a shirt, and a jacket. These pieces are methodically and mathematically manifested as specific shapes that can be filled by a body.

Inspired by origami/the art of paper folding as a means to create self-standing structures and driven by the material exploration of bonding fabrics, this collection examines wearable structures. The overall shapes are simple yet bold with quite complex compositions.

Fusing two layers of polyester organza and/or taffeta creates a lightweight, paper-like, durable material that can be folded and manipulated into endless shapes. In the final garments, this technique is also applied to denim and lightweight cotton repurposed from 100% cotton vintage jeans, shirts, and a jumpsuit.
